Nine times out of ten this is a hidden Apple relay address. Open iPhone Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Glowé, and check the app is still listed. If you removed it, sign in again and choose Share my email. Still stuck? Email us the address you originally used and we'll reconnect it by hand.
Your history lives with your account, not the device. Sign in with the same Apple ID or email on the new phone and everything reappears. If the new phone shows an empty history, you're almost certainly signed into a second account — check Settings → Account inside the app for the email shown at the top.
€4.99 per week or €39.99 per year. Prices may vary by region, and the exact amount for your account is shown in the App Store before you confirm. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Glowé Pro is billed by Apple, so cancelling happens in iOS, not in our app:
You keep Plus until the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling during a free trial ends it immediately at the trial's end date, and you are not charged.
Annoying, but nearly always fixable in ten seconds. In the app, go to Settings → Restore purchases. That re-reads your Apple receipt. If nothing changes, make sure the iPhone is signed into the same Apple ID that made the purchase — a family member's ID is the usual culprit. If it still won't unlock, send us the receipt from your Apple email and we'll unlock the account manually.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us — we genuinely cannot issue them. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, pick the Glowé purchase and choose Request a refund. If Apple turns it down and you think that's wrong, write to us and we'll support your case where we can. Your statutory right of withdrawal is described in our AGB.
Light is the single biggest factor. Scanning at a window at 9am and under a bathroom spotlight at 11pm can move the surface scores by several points on the same skin. For comparable numbers: same spot, same time of day, no makeup, face fully lit from the front. Glowé flags a scan when the light is too poor to read reliably.
Twice a week is plenty, and daily scanning mostly measures your lighting rather than your skin. Visible change on texture and blemishes usually needs two to four weeks — that's why the plan runs 14 days and then re-reads you.
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Glowé is a wellness and habit app. It reads what a front camera can see and turns it into a consistent score you can track. It cannot diagnose acne, rosacea, eczema or anything else. Anything painful, rapidly changing, bleeding or asymmetric belongs with a doctor or dermatologist — not with an app.
Open the scan in your history, tap the ⋯ menu top right, then Delete scan. The photo and the scores derived from it are removed.
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. You'll confirm once, and the account, every scan photo and your routine history are deleted. Backups roll off within 30 days. This cannot be undone, and an active subscription is not cancelled automatically — cancel it in iOS Subscriptions as well.
You can also request deletion by email at Glowe.skinapp@gmail.com. Full details of your GDPR rights are in the Datenschutzerklärung.
Write to Glowe.skinapp@gmail.com from the address on your account. You'll receive a machine-readable export within 30 days, as required by Art. 15 and Art. 20 GDPR.
Glowé needs camera access. Settings → Glowé → Camera on. If it's already on, force-quit the app (swipe up and flick it away) and reopen — iOS occasionally hands the camera to the last app that used it.
Update to the latest version first, then restart the phone. If it still crashes, email us your iPhone model, iOS version and roughly when it started — that's usually enough for us to find it in the crash logs.
Write to us. Real humans, one email away.
